The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has recognized the Tigers' outstanding achievements, honoring the team as an ITA All-Academic Team and bestowing individual ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades on five of their standout players.

Achieving ITA All-Academic Team Status
The LSU women's tennis team has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to their academic pursuits, earning the prestigious ITA All-Academic Team designation. To be recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team, a program must maintain a collective grade point average of 3.2 or higher throughout the entire 2023-24 academic year. Under the guidance of Head Coach Taylor Fogleman, the Tigers have experienced a three-win improvement from the previous season, boasting a 16-11 record. Their hard work and determination have paid off, as the team made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021.
Individual ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors
In addition to the team's accolade, five LSU women's tennis players have been named ITA Scholar-Athletes. To earn this prestigious recognition, an individual must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2023-24 academic year.The Tigers' standout scholars include Kylie Collins, Carina Holguin, Kinaa Graham, Maya Tahan, and Aran Teixidó Garcia. Collins, a seasoned veteran, has received this honor for the third time in her collegiate career, with the previous recognition coming during her freshman year at Texas. Holguin and Graham, both in their first year at the university, have also been awarded the ITA Scholar-Athlete distinction, showcasing their exceptional academic prowess.The two graduate students on the roster, Tahan and Garcia, have rounded out the impressive list of ITA Scholar-Athletes, further solidifying the team's commitment to academic excellence.
