Surrounded by a supportive family who shared his passion for the game, Moose's journey with tennis has been a lifelong pursuit. Despite exploring other sports, he always found himself drawn back to the tennis court, where he discovered a sense of belonging and a platform to make a lasting impact.

Transitioning from Volleyball to Tennis Coaching

After a stint as a collegiate volleyball coach, Moose made the conscious decision to return to his true calling – tennis. He became a certified professional with the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), driven by the desire to make a broader impact on individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Moose recognized the longevity and versatility of tennis, which allowed him to connect with a diverse range of people, from children to the elderly, at the grassroots level.

Moose's role in the tennis community has evolved over the years, and he now serves as the Director of Operations at Lake Cane Tennis Center, a coach, volunteer, and a graduate of the USTA Florida Leadership Academy Program. His unwavering commitment to inclusivity and advocacy has been a driving force in his work, as he strives to create safe and welcoming spaces for individuals from all walks of life.

Moose's dedication to inclusivity and community engagement is exemplified through his organization of the "We Play for Pride" and "We Play for Pink" charity tennis tournaments. These events, which support the LGBTQ+ community and breast cancer awareness, respectively, have been recognized by the USPTA Florida, earning the prestigious Diversity Award.
