Their annual "Coats for Kids"drive is a much-anticipated tradition that has spanned decades, providing a lifeline for those in need.

Kicking Off the Coat Collection
The Kiwanis Club's "Spooktacular Coats for Kids" collection event is set to take place on Friday, October 25th from 5PM to 9 PM at the Crying Eagle, located at 1165 McNeese Street in Lake Charles. This free, family-friendly occasionwill welcome all members of the community to donate new or gently used coats, and in return, they'll receive acomplimentary glass, drink token, and raffle ticket.Attendees are encouraged to don their most creative Halloween costumes, as the event will feature a variety ofactivities to delight both children and adults. Refreshments, a raffle, a live auction, and lively music by the JulianPrimeaux Band will set the tone for a spirited evening of giving and community celebration.
